You would be hard pressed to find a construction site that didn't have several pneumatic nailers on the premises. This is one of the most used pieces of equipment because it saves a great deal of time which translates into saved money.

Most foremen are not concerned about whether or not they need one but rather in what brand they want to get and need to make sure they are getting a quality piece of equipment that will be worth its weight in gold. The brand and type of pneumatic nailer you get varies drastically and the quality of the equipment you purchase is often parallel to what you pay for it. When choosing to rent a pneumatic nailer, you will need equipment that will be right for the job your doing. You could find one for building a doll house, bird house or even a dog house, up to an actual building structure. Just as you would not want to use a doll house nailer when building a full size building, you also would not want to use a long nail gun for building a doll house.

Weather you rent one or purchase one, you want a quality gun. If you plan to do job after job then you may want to purchase one straight out, but if you're just doing a job here and there or building for hobby once in a while, renting can save you money and give you more options when you decide to change what projects you want to tackle.
